Payment and Refund Policy (07.04.2025)


1. Payment


To confirm any booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total price is required. This advance secures your reservation – especially with third-party providers such as riads, desert camps or transport partners – and is calculated based on the nature of the trip and the time remaining until departure. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Morocco, at the latest before the start of any service, by one of the following payment methods:

 – Cash payment in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) on-site

 – Bank transfer in USD / GBP / CHF / EUR with proof of transaction

 – PayPal payment with confirmation

In special cases – particularly during peak seasons (e.g. Christmas, New Year) or for customized private arrangements – we reserve the right to request full advance payment, which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.


2. Cancellation by the Customer


Cancellations must be submitted in written form via email to thedesertvibes@gmail.com. Refunds are processed based on the cancellation date as follows:

 – Up to 30 days before departure: 100% refund of all payments received
 – 10 to 29 days before departure: 50% refund
 –
Less than 10 days before departure: No refund

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation. If the customer decides to cancel or terminate the trip after its start, no refund will be issued for services that have already been rendered or begun. For any unused services provided by third parties (e.g. riads, camps, transfers) where we receive a refund, we will forward 100% of that amount to the guest.


3. Cancellation by Desert Vibes


We reserve the right to cancel or terminate a tour if:

 – the safety of participants is at risk (e.g. due to political unrest, severe weather, or health risks)
 – there are legal or governmental restrictions that prevent us from operating
 – force majeure occurs (e.g. natural disasters, earthquakes, pandemics)
 – the currency exchange rate fluctuates more than 10% to our disadvantage

In these cases, we offer:
– a full refund of all payments received or a rebooking for a later date or based on an updated exchange rate

If participants display disrespectful or inappropriate behavior toward our team (e.g. verbal abuse or indecent conduct), we reserve the right to terminate the trip without refund.



4. Special Notes

 – Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment (minus any transaction or banking fees).
 – Additional fees may apply for international wire transfers or PayPal transactions, which are the responsibility of the guest.
– Any changes or modifications (e.g. name changes, rescheduling, custom requests) are subject to review and may incur additional service charges.
